Hello,

When I edit the entry and Click "Save and close", when i open the entry to edit it displays "DRAFT (HAS LIVE VERSION)" however the changes I just made previously are not displayed. So I do not see the point of "Save and close" as it does not seem to save anything. How can I access the draft, there is no where to display the draft.

Another issue, when the entry is Live, when I Click "Save and preview" I get "Whoops! It looks like there's a problem generating your preview". "Save and preview" only works if the entry is status is "Draft"

Cheers
Gerald

    Hi Gerald,

I'm sorry you are having problems with BWF.

As for Save & Close - if you can see the title DRAFT (HAS LIVE VERSION) your draft content has been successfully saved and should appear in the Publish view. Can I ask what field types you are using? Do you have a simple text input - if so this should display your updated text. Perhaps you could send me a screen grab of what you are seeing.

As for your other issue - the Matrix bug when you preview. We have seen this before with earlier versions of BWF - if you are not running 1.6.4.2 can you try and upgrade.

    Many thanks,
    Malcolm

    Hi Malcolm,

    Thank you for your reply.

The first screen grab ending with 13.42 shows when i add ......... on the title, then i click "Save and close" and when I open the entry again it does not show the ........ as shown on second screen grab ending with 12.14

    Thanks
    Gerald

    Hi Gerald,

Thanks for this - your set up is definitely not doing what is should.

Can you tell me what other *Extensions *you are running - I suspect
something is conflicting with BWF's behavior.

    Thanks,
    Malcolm

Thanks for this, can you confirm what version of BWF you are running?

Nothing from your list seems the obvious culprit. Could you enable logging in the BWF settings and then try loading the publish view again - if you could then send over the log we can take a look.

    Thanks,

    Hi Gerald,

We're really sorry that you're still having problems with this. Is there any way that you could provide us with Control Panel access?

    Thanks,
    Iain
